What is the SaaStr Annual?

The 8th SaaStr Annual is the largest non-vendor SaaS gathering in the world, uniting the global B2B SaaS and Cloud community both online and off. We want to help everyone scale faster and with less stress and more success!

In 2022, over 10,000+ attendees including Founders, Senior Executives, and Cloud VCs will come together over three action-packed days of high-quality networking, learning from those who’ve done it, and of course, networking, happy hours, and plenty of fun.

Where is SaaStr Annual 2022 being held?

The '22 Annual will take place at the 40-acre SAN MATEO COUNTY EVENT CENTER, 2650 S Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94403, approximately 20-30 minutes from San Francisco.  You can also take the Caltrain from downtown San Francisco/ or anyone in the Bay Area really.  We do recommend out-of-towners stay wherever they are most comfortable. There will be a dedicated Uber/Lyft/ rideshare drop-off at Annual to make getting in and out easy for those staying in SF proper or in the peninsula.

Note that most of SaaStr Annual will again be outside this year!

In accordance with our broader Health & Safety guidelines, about 90% of Annual will be outside this year, to promote a safer, more comfortable gathering for our expected number of in-person attendees. There will be tons of elbow room, with the stages, sponsors, networking areas and more spread out across 40+ acres outside at the San Mateo County Event Center. Dress appropriately, it will be warm in the afternoons but can get a bit chillier in the evenings. Bring a sweater or jacket for the end of the day.

PARKING, RIDESHARE + SHUTTLES

PARKING: On-site parking for attendees is pre-assigned. If you requested and received a parking pass via email, be sure to park in the designated lot assigned to you. Otherwise, use our overflow parking at Crowne Plaza.

OFF-SITE/ OVERFLOW PARKING: You can park with ins-out privileges at the Crowne Plaza, 221 Chess Dr. Foster City. The SaaStr shuttle will be running all 3 days, to take you from Crowne to the San Mateo County Events Center.

RIDE-SHARE / DROP-OFF: If you are taking an Uber, Lyft, or other forms of ride-share, we have 2 registration drop-off points, located on either side of the San Mateo County Events Center:

East Lot Drop-off: 1346 Saratoga Dr, San Mateo, CA 94403

West Lost Drop-off: 2650 S Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94403

*It is recommended to drop-off in the East lot at 1346 Saratoga to avoid the street construction on Delaware.

SHUTTLES: The free SaaStr Annual shuttle will be running during all event days, September 13, 14 + 15th:

How do I purchase tickets to this event?

Can I give my badge to someone else if I can’t make it all 3 days? (badge swapping)

Badge swapping is strictly prohibited at this year’s event due to our increased health & safety protocols. A daily temperature and ID check will be in place to ensure compliance. As such, you also can not pick up someone else’s badge.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket. To do so, please contact annual@saastrinc.com with your order confirmation number and the registration details of who you’d like to transfer your ticket to (first name, last name, email address, company, and title.).

do i have to be vaccinated? do i have to be covid tested?

Yes, you have to be vaccinated and yes, you have to either test yourself just prior to attending, or you can test on-site at Annual. On-site testing will create a wait of 20-45 minutes before entering, more here. Everyone also has to be temperature checked, and won’t be able to enter with an elevated temperature.

WHERE/ WHEN DO I CHECK-IN TO GET MY BADGE?

You can pick-up your badge, and go through our Health & Safety protocols at the following times/ locations:

WhAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO PICK UP MY BADGE?

Bring the following when you pick up your badge: A valid photo ID, preferably a valid passport or a valid US license, your vaccine card or photo proof for verification, proof of negative COVID test within 72 hours, and your email confirmation with QR code to help ensure a speedy check-in.

AS a reminder, this is a vaccinated event:

Please familiarize yourself with our SaaStr Annual 2022 Health and Safety Guidelines. All attendees will have to verify the following information before being admitted entrance to SaaStr Annual: 

  • Proof of vaccination: You must have either received a (1) booster, (2) received a vaccination within the last 270 days, or (3) received a vaccination plus a recovery certificate.  All attendees must upload their proof of vax prior to Sept 1st.

  • Proof of negative COVID test within 72 hours of your first entrance to SaaStr Annual. Bring the result of an at-home test with you, or any lab test. For an at-home test, be sure to take a photo of the negative result, time-stamped, with your ID.

  • There will be daily temperature and ID checks.

What is our Code of Conduct + TERMS OF SERVICE?

SAASTR ANNUAL 2022 - Campus map and guide

Sprawling 40 acres of the San Mateo County Events Center, SaaStr Annual is large and immersive, outdoor/ indoor event. Take a look at the full campus map above:

A) Arrivals: Be sure to have your ride-share or drop-off take you to the East Lot Drop-off: 1346 Saratoga Dr, San Mateo, CA 94403 or the West Lost Drop-off: 2650 S Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94403

B) Registration: Pick up your badge on either side of the San Mateo County Events Center when you enter. There are 3 designated lines for check-in : Need Testing (for those who need to COVID test on-site), Brought Test (for those who brought their negative test result with them) and Express (for re-entry after you have your badge).

C, D, E) Sponsor Hall: The hub and main thoroughfare of SaaStr Annual is the outdoor Sponsor Hall. Here you’ll find all the Sponsors We Love, Sponsors We Love Stage A, B & C, the Cantina (food & refreshments), Braindates (networking) and the SaaStr No Pool (charge lounge.)

F) Stage A: Accessible through the Sponsor Hall and from the exits of SaaStr Square Park. Look for Stage A sessions in the Agenda.

G) Stage B: Accessible through the Sponsor Hall. Look for Stage B sessions in the Agenda.

H) Co-Working Space in Fiesta Hall (indoors). A we-work style space with powered tables, coffee and plenty of places to send an email or get some work done on-site.

I) SaaStr Square Park & Puppies (indoors) Enter through the large doors into our play area - tons of tables, great space to take a meeting and to meet an adoptable dog or two.

J) Workshop & QA Stages: Located next to the Airpusher art car (giant pirate ship). Look for these 2 stages right outside the Co-Working Space.

K, L) Green Room & VIP Lounge: Event Pavillion and Sequoia Hall (indoors) *By invitation only - badge checks in place.
